Tallmadge, Ohio – October 15, 2010 – NZ Manufacturing, Inc., a leader in high-quality resistance training and physical rehabilitation tools, recently participated in the 2010 FINA World Aquatics Convention in Punta del Este, Uruguay.

FINA is the international governing body of swimming, diving, water polo, synchronized swimming and open water swimming. The first-annual FINA World Aquatics Convention was a unique and exclusive opportunity for the global aquatics community – including presidents of federations and high-ranking officials from the Olympic committees – to collaborate on trends in the swimming field and help move the sport forward. Its overarching objective was to give participants the best possible guidelines and information to help them achieve success in their respective countries.

It included a comprehensive program of keynote speakers, general sessions and round-table discussions accompanied by a dynamic exhibition space. As an invited exhibitor, NZ Manufacturing showcased its StrechCordz® resistance swim training tools used to improve stamina, power, stroke and Individual Medley times. The in-water and dryland equipment enhances performance by building muscles and perfecting techniques such as full swimmer pulls, tricep extensions, rowing, overhead raises, chest flys, proper hip rotation, stroke efficiency and more.
“The FINA World Aquatics Convention gave us the invaluable opportunity to meet aquatics industry representatives from all over the world,” remarked Maureen Petrasko, owner of NZ Manufacturing. “It also helped us learn more about FINA and how it promotes and facilitates international swimming events.” The second edition of the FINA World Aquatics Convention is to be held in October 2012. NZ Manufacturing is based in Tallmadge, Ohio. For more information on the company or its complete line of StrechCordz, please call 1-800-886-6621, email [email protected] or visit www.nzmfg.com.
